怎麼這麼暖？周一卑詩多地創下歷史同期高溫紀錄
【星島綜合報道】過去幾天的卑詩南岸溫暖多雨，根據加拿大環境與氣候變遷部的資料，全省28個地區在12月15日創下了歷史最高氣溫紀錄。
溫哥華和列治文在15日最高氣溫均達到攝氏15.7度，打破了63年來13.3度的紀錄。
阿加西斯、海灣群島、甘碌市、鮑威爾河、奎斯內爾、列治文、史夸米殊以及維多利亞部分地區，自1962年上次創紀錄高溫以來，從未出現過如此高溫。
同時，克林頓、科莫克斯、霍普、彭伯頓、阿爾伯尼港、夸利科姆海灘、威斯勒和白石鎮出現自1976年以來最熱的12月15日。
雷夫爾斯托克15日最高氣溫達到攝氏8.2度，打破了1917年創下的6.7度的單日最高氣溫紀錄。
1130新聞廣播電台氣象學家庫斯(Michael Kuss)表示，高溫是由強勁的南風造成的。「從加州、亞利桑那，甚至墨西哥等地一路北上，輸送大量暖空氣。這就是為什麼氣溫不僅偏暖，而且在很多地方比過去100年來的氣溫高出兩三度。」
他表示，周三時冷空氣將重返卑詩省，到本周末氣溫可能會降至季節性水平以下。

庫斯說：「我們開始看到天氣模式逐漸向冬季模式轉變。這意味著周二晚些時候，山區山口可能會下雪。但可以肯定的是，在接下來的幾天裡，出行將進入冬季模式，我們預計北岸滑雪場可能會再次出現白色天氣和降雪。」
庫斯表示，低陸平原不太可能迎來白色聖誕節，但「並非完全沒有可能」。「有幾個天氣系統正在到來，氣溫將比我們今年任何時候——至少在陰天——都更接近冰點。」
