【突发/有片】安省小货车撞伤行人冲破围栏坠入民居泳池

【星岛综合报道】安省Whitby警方称，周五（11日）下午一辆小货车（pickup truck）冲出道路，撞到了一名行人，然后冲破栅栏，掉进一户人家后面的泳池里。

据CP24报道，安省Whitby一名行人被一辆小货车撞倒，货车其后撞上住宅围栏，最后掉进民居后院的游泳池里，行人身受重伤，正在医院接受治疗。

警方称，事发下午1时左右，靠近Whitby的Rossland Road East夹Fencerow Drive。

当时，小货车冲出道路并撞到了一名行人，从CP24直升机拍摄的影片显示，失事车辆随后冲破了两栋房屋的栅栏，最终落入位于地下的游泳池内。

警方表示，被撞的行人被送往多伦多地区的创伤医院，情况危急，在随后的更新中，Durham地区警方发言人Nick Gluckstein告诉CP24，该行人的病情已经稳定。

同时，警方表示，司机已脱离车辆和泳池，受了轻伤。

Gluckstein周五下午告诉CP24，“我们仍在努力确定到底发生了什么事，并正在调查这是否是一起医疗事故，或者是否有东西穿过马路，使得他们离开道路以避免在道路上发生碰撞，”并补充说，他们相信道路上可能有碎片或某种动物。

警方表示，这起事故导致多个Bell服务箱受损，并指依赖电信网络提供服务的当地人，可能会遇到服务中断的情况。

Durham地区警方在社交媒体X上发文表示：“预计服务将于今晚修复。”

警方表示，随着调查的进行，该十字路口已关闭。
