- 如果我誤按了按鈕會怎樣?
如果您誤按了按鈕,可以在五秒內再次按該按鈕以取消通話。但是,如果它已經連接到我們的支援服務中心,您只需告訴支援人員您誤按了按鈕,我們將取消這次求救通話。
- 如果我走出預先設定的安全區域會怎樣?

- What is the iHelp service?
iHelp is a mobile personal emergency response system providing you with 24-hour call center services in yourpreferred language: Cantonese, Mandarin and English. It's a 3G mobile service nationwide; thus, you can take it wherever you go. The unit will work anywhere in Canada and the US where there is cellular coverage.
- What are the differences between iHelp and other similar services that are available in the market?
- iHelp which is provided by APC Security Alarm & Monitoring is the only one equipped with the genuine Chinese language service. You can choose your preferred language (Mandarin, Cantonese and English) to be used in the voice prompt of the button while other competitive devices can only use English.
- APC Security Alarm & Monitoring has its own emergency response center and all operators are trilingual. Thus, you don't need to wait for someone who can talk to you in your preferred language.
- Unlike other similar services, iHelp's emergency response service is not just confined to medical help but any personal safety that you may need in your daily life.
- How big is the device?
The device is very small; only 2.5" x 1.8" x 0.67" and lightweight at 1.5 ounces. It's compact to carry around.
- How long does the battery last and how can I tell the battery is low?
It has 2 days of standby battery life. By double pressing the button, it will also announce when the battery is low and the unit will notify the monitoring center as well. The monitoring centre will then report the low battery status back to you.
- What is the best way to carry the device around?
The device comes with a neck lanyard, wrist strap, and belt clip; you can wear whichever one you want that is comfortable for you.
- How waterproof is it?
You can wear the device in the shower where many accidents may occur.
- If I fall or experience an accident, what will the call center do next?
The call center will talk to you via speaker which is on the unit itself and check your condition. If necessary, we will notify your emergency contact right away by calling them. The voice prompt will also let you know the status of your call. For example, your emergency call is now being dialed. Please stand by.
- What happens if I push the button by mistake?
If you push the button by mistake, you can press the button again within the first five seconds to cancel the call. However if it has already connected to our operator, you can simply tell our operator you pressed the button by mistake and we will disregard the call.
- What happens if I step out of the pre-programmed safety zone?
If you leave the pre-programming safety zone (Geo fence), the device will notify the call center immediately. Our operator will notify your emergency contact by SMS text messaging right away. At the same time, your family/caretaker/employer can send an SMS text message to us with your account number to track your location. We will then locate where you are and provide them with a respective map within five to ten seconds.
- What happens if I leave the wireless coverage area?
If you leave the wireless service coverage area, the device is able to detect it right away. The call center will immediately notify your emergency contact via SMS text message.
- Can I bring the device while travelling outside Canada?
Yes, you can use the device when travelling to the States.
- Once I purchase the device, how do I activate the service?
Once you purchase the device, we will activate your device and ship it to you within 10 days. You can use it right away as soon as you receive the device.

We provide a one-year warranty starting from the shipment date of the device.
