「农村和北方移民引进试点项目」 5社区延迟接受申请

2019年，联邦政府推出了「农村和北方移民引进试点项目」(Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot) ，目的是吸引新移民前赴这类地区定居和工作。不过，据加拿大移民新闻网（CIC News）消息，参与该项目的11个社区中有5个原定于1月1日开始接受申请的社区，都要延迟至少一个月才能开始接受申请，其他一些社区也有不同情况的延迟。

据加拿大移民新闻网报道，原定于在今年1月1日开始试点计划的5个社区包括：安省北湾（North Bay）、安省添明斯市（Timmins）、亚省克莱尔斯霍姆（Claresholm）、卑诗维农市(Vernon)以及卑诗省的西库特尼（West Kootenay）。

此外，原定于去年11月1日开始试点的安省湿比利（Sudbury）也仍未开始接受申请，安省雷湾(Thunder Bay)也是一样，尽管其网页上说1月2日就开始接受申请。
