【阿浓专栏】《我的爷爷》

刚升中读了一学期的大孙女来电，说因为要做一份功课要问我几个问题，我说好，你问吧。

她问我童年有甚么好玩的？我说那年代乡间没有甚么玩具，除了看书，自然界的昆虫像蟋蟀、蜻蜓成了玩具。

她问我是怎么认识嫲嫲的？我说是在青少年团体活动中认识的。

她问我做老师教些甚么？我说中文、数学和美术。

她问我移民面对甚么挑战？我说语言、驾驶和园艺。

过了两天是「家庭日」，全家聚餐后，她的父亲即我的儿子拿出了她的功课，原来是一首英文诗，题目是My Grandpa。她写时还在读小学的妹妹也给了意见。

大家要求读出来听，听后获得一致赞美。当然最受感动的是我这个爷爷。其中不乏很甜的话，难得还押了韵。抄部分段落大家欣赏：

And art where he taught his students to pain and drew

Now that he is older

He became an author

He writes story books and writes for the newspaper too

He has gone through

He is the kindest and most loving person

Love to give out sweets and chocolate

The most supporting person I know

Is always there for me no matter what

He’s the best grandpa can’t ask for more

I love you grandpa
