【卑詩校園槍案】總理卡尼對槍案感震驚悲痛 責成公安部長確保社區獲支援
【星島綜合報道】卑詩省圖布勒嶺(Tumbler Ridge)中學周二(10日)發生槍擊事件，釀成至少10死25人受傷慘案。總理卡尼於當地時間晚上近8時發表聲明時說，對駭人槍擊案感到無比震驚和悲痛。
卡尼表示：「我對今天發生在卑詩省圖布勒嶺的駭人槍擊案感到無比震驚和悲痛，我向在這些可怕的暴力事件中失去親人的家庭和朋友致以最深切的慰問和祈禱。」
他說：「我與所有加拿大人一起，為那些今天生活被徹底改變的人們感到悲痛，並向那些冒著生命危險保護同胞的急救人員的勇氣和無私奉獻致以崇高的敬意。我們能夠在危機時刻團結一致，這正是我們國家最寶貴的品質——我們的同理心、我們的團結以及我們彼此間的關懷。」

卡尼聲明中表示，已經聯繫了省長尹大衛(Premier Eby) ，表達慰問之意，並與負責協調聯邦政府應對工作的公共安全部長阿南達桑加里(Gary Anandasangaree)取得了聯繫。
他續稱：「我們的官員正與相關部門密切聯繫，以確保社區得到我們所能提供的最佳支援。加拿大政府與所有卑詩省居民站在一起，共同面對這場可怕的悲劇。 」
